By participating on our social media pages and channels, you are expected to respect the following rules and the environment they set out to create. We try to keep things fun, happy, and friendly. Please help us do that.

1. Be excellent to each other

This is a friendly and respectful environment. Users are expected to conduct themselves accordingly.

2. Keep it PG-13 rated as much as possible

Links or pictures that are of an “adult” nature are not permitted, except on channels marked as NSFW. Swearing and violent content is discouraged, and should be kept to a minimum.

3. No flaming, trolling, or general confrontational behavior

This includes, but is not limited to: calling names, bullying, making insults, making threats, and being generally rude and argumentative to other users – especially acting this way towards new users.

This also includes racist, homophobic, and sexist remarks, or other types of hateful remarks, including any content that could be reasonably interpreted as such. Likewise, endorsement of mantras that promote intolerance or inequality are not welcome in Skywind spaces.

This also includes persistent negative and deconstructive feedback about the project – discussion and criticism are both healthy and encouraged, but scattergun negativity is toxic.

4. No illegal content, piracy, pirated content, “warez”, facilitating the sale of prohibited goods or substances, or other illegal content

No links, no discussion of methods. This includes anything that violates the community guidelines of the platform you are using.

5. No content that is violent, sexually explicit, or “shocking” for the purposes of offending other users

This includes stuff like “shock” images, images of extreme violence, animal cruelty, rape mods, and all the other awful things that the internet has to offer.

Again, this includes anything that violates the platform’s community guidelines.

6. No spam, advertising, astroturfing, shilling, recruitment etc

Please leave your commercial interests at the door.

Content that is annoying and intrinsically valueless to conversation – such as repeated messages, irrelevant images, etc – will also be treated as spam at the moderators’ discretion.

7. No content that is generally disruptive and poisonous to online communities, such as political discussions

Members come from all around the world, and we have different political affiliations and viewpoints. We ask you refrain from bringing in politics or religion, since they’re of little relevance to the project.
